Chocolate Banana Butter Toast, gluten free and to die for!


This morning treat sure made Nikos a happy camper!!!
1 piece of raw or gluten free toast (warmed if you wish)
1 heaping TBSP raw almond butter (don't be shy!!!)
1 banana, sliced
1 tsp raw honey (optional)
1 tsp raw cacao nibs
1. Warm bread if desired and slather with almond butter.
2. Top with sliced banana, than drizzle with honey.
3. Sprinkle with cacao nibs.
You can also sprinkle cinnamon or pumpkin pie spices to bring in the holiday cheer.
OOOHHHHH!!! This toast is just too good to be true. Enjoy!!

    it does look yummy and I would like to try making it but where do you buy the raw almond butter and the raw gluten free toast?

  2. Try your local organic store and ask the clerk for gluten free bread, without corn if possible. Some stores do not have raw almond butter and have regular almond butter which, even though it has been heated, meaning most of the enzymes have been destroyed, will still taste delicious and offer you a boost of nutrition. You can also attempt to make your own if you have a good blender that will run for over 10 minutes without overheating. A vitamix is your best option, however they are rather expensive- but worth every penny. They will last you a lifetime.

    I made my own RAW chunky almond butter, which is far from the real thing, as the oils were not able to properly extract, but it was still raw and delicious. Here is the recipe:
