Vegan Savory Sauce
This recipe is taken and modified from MY FAVORITE vegetarian RESTAURANT of all time -- The Spot in Hermosa Beach.This sauce goes well with everything- salads, rice, lentils, quinoa, steamed/grilled veggies, nachos, burgers, etc. It is SO good I want to drink it with a straw!!
3/4 cup sunflower oil3/4 cup water1/4 cup soy sauce1/4 teaspoon basil1 clove minced garlic1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice1 1/2 teaspoons tamari450 g firm tofu
1. Put all the ingredients is a blender and you are ready to go. You can serve hot or cold.
Tonight we are having steamed broccoli, cauliflower and grilled pumpkin smothered in savory sauce :)
